Cookies
A cookie is a small value that your browser stores for a site. This notice describes this website, not the desktop app.
This site uses two first-party cookies, which means cookies that this site sets. It does not write either cookie before you make a privacy choice. It uses no analytics cookies, personal identifiers, local storage or browser fingerprinting.
Privacy choice: glint_consent
glint_consent records your explicit decision about preference storage and Spotify external content. Its version is v1. It contains two yes-or-no choices, not an account or visitor ID.
The cookie remembers a rejection as well as an allowance. It expires 180 days after it is saved. It is needed to remember the privacy choice you make.
Optional preferences: glint_player
glint_player remembers only your selected song, visual style and icon setting. The site writes it only if you allow preference storage. It expires 180 days after it is saved.
The saved song key is myeyes, maria or sienna. The style is stack, scatter or constellation. The icon setting is on or off. The cookie does not contain listening history or an identifier.
A pasted Spotify track link is not saved in this cookie. Only the three named song choices can be remembered. Typed song searches and pasted links are not stored as listening history by this site.
Turning off preference storage deletes this cookie. You can still change the demo controls without saving your choices between visits.
Cookie settings
Both cookies use Secure, SameSite=Lax and Path=/. Secure restricts transmission to HTTPS. SameSite=Lax limits when the browser sends them with requests from other sites. Path=/ makes them available across this site.
Unknown or malformed consent values do not enable optional features. Preference storage and Spotify external content start off and have separate controls.
Optional Spotify external content
Spotify players load only after you allow Spotify external content. This choice is separate from saving preferences. Loading a player sends your IP address, device and browser information to Spotify.
Spotify can use its own and third-party cookies. Spotify and its providers control those cookies, their purposes and their lifetimes. This site does not set or promise their expiry periods. Read the Spotify privacy policy for information about Spotify's processing and controls.
Reject or change your choice
Reject optional leaves the core website and visual demo available. It blocks Spotify players and deletes the optional preference cookie. The privacy choice cookie records the rejection.
Open Privacy settings to change your choices. Turning off Spotify external content removes the player and prevents this page from loading another one. This does not erase information already sent to Spotify or delete Spotify's cookies.
Delete cookies in your browser
Open your browser's settings. Find the section for cookies or site data. Search for this site's address and delete its stored data. To remove Spotify cookies, find and delete Spotify's stored data too.
Your browser can also block cookies. Deleting this site's consent cookie makes the site ask for your choice again. Optional features stay off until you allow them. Deleting cookies does not delete provider logs or other information already received.
