Preview terms and copyright

This website previews Glint, a Windows desktop app. There is currently no public app download or sale on this site. Features and release plans can change.

This page explains the preview and the rights in its content. Visiting the site does not, by itself, mean that you accept a purchase contract or app licence.

Original Glint work

Copyright protects original Glint app code and original website content. Website access does not grant a licence to redistribute Glint's original source code or app binaries. It does not grant permission to reuse Glint's branding.

This notice does not claim copyright in ideas, functionality, general design concepts or third-party work. It does not claim that Glint has a registered trademark. Copyright notices and website controls cannot guarantee that copying will be prevented.

These statements remain subject to rights and exceptions under mandatory law. They do not remove permissions that an applicable third-party licence grants.

Third-party components and media

Third-party components retain their own copyright and licence terms. Read the third-party licence notices for components used on this website. Phosphor icons use the MIT licence. The Inter font uses the SIL Open Font License. Glint's original code is not made open source merely by using those components.

The visual demo uses original text. This site does not host copied third-party recordings or song lyrics. Song titles and artist names identify the official Spotify players and do not transfer rights in those works.

Spotify widgets and playback remain subject to Spotify's terms and service rules. Read the Spotify terms. Glint is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Spotify. Allowing an embed does not grant a licence to copy music or lyrics.

The site removes the Spotify player after up to 15 seconds of playback. Spotify can supply a shorter clip or no playable clip. This time limit does not create a music or lyric licence. The original-text visual demo is separate and silent. This preview does not synchronize song lyrics or provide custom control of Spotify volume.

Before a public release or sale

App licence terms, sale terms and refund terms are not finalized. This page is not a finished end-user licence agreement or a set of purchase terms. Any future release or sale needs the relevant terms before you download or buy.

The operator's legal identity, business address, country and public contact details are not yet published. The owner must supply these details before release. This preview page does not claim to satisfy every legal requirement for a business website.

Before a commercial launch, the owner needs qualified local legal review of the operator details, privacy notices, app licence, sale terms and refund rules.
